It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norma Ronatay, Saturday, on February 3, 2018 at Women’s Hospital, Health Sciences Centre at the age of 76 years.
Norma was born in Iba, Zambales to Segundo Navarro and Maria Baysa on October 3rd, 1941 and was married to Dominador Ronatay of Ologon, Libon, Albay. Norma was preceded in death by her husband Dominador, parents Segundo and Maria, as well as brother Napoleon, and sister Conchita.
Norma is survived by her daughter Theresa (Heinz), son Voltaire (Angelita); only grand-daughter, Therese Ann; brother Delfin (Zenaida) of Cainta, Rizal; sister Librada (Willie) of Oceanside, California; and sister Lucila of Olongapo City, and sister-in-law Erlinda of Bulacan.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses and caregivers at the 5th Floor of the Women's Hospital for their utmost care and compassion during Norma's final days.
Viewing/Lamay will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 commencing at 6:00 pm at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd., Winnipeg MB. Prayer service will be held at 10:00 pm, with Rev. Father Chris Dubois presiding..
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin St. Winnipeg, MB., with Monsignor Enrique Samson Jr. celebrant.
Burial will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Garden at 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg, MB.
