Visting the grandparents
As Walters eldest grandchild i have many many fond memories as i was so blessed to have him part of my life for 34 years. I recall my grandparents asking for my sister and i to come and stay for a week when school was out. He would greet us in the morning and make us laugh and smile and they would prepare a breakfast of our choosing. Grandpa would then ask us what we would like to do each day and said we could do anything. Those activites included puddle jumping, pretend detective games at the Forks with flash lights, and finding random parks to play at. I remember grandpa being so strong that he would push us around on the merry go round at Mosquito park and we would hold on so tight and felt like we were flying. The evenings were then spent with him teaching us something or watching a really neat show on television. Grandpa made it hia mission to make sure we were always learning, having fun and that he gave us his focus and attention all the time. My grandfather also provided me with some very suppotive advice in February that will impact my career. He taught me to be proud of what you do and embrace it. Thank you grandpa for everything. We will take good care of grandma for you and we will be sure to share our amazing memories with the boys. Xoxo
