January 29,1923 – February 28, 2019
Constancia Escalona Maquimot, 96, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2019 surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Constancia was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who will always be remembered as a kind and grateful soul who was selfless and compassionate.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gomercendo Maquimot. She is survived by three children, Crisanta Martinez (Ernesto), Gregorio Maquimot (Priscilla) and Lourdes Adante; five grandchildren, Cristina Deguzman (Allan), Crisalie Marquez (Alex), Reser Martinez (Rochelle), Jessica Maquimot, Jacqueline Maquimot; three great grandchildren, Charlise Deguzman, Collin Deguzman, Crystal Marquez.
Lamay/Vigil Prayers will be held at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1006 Nairn Ave., Winnipeg, MB. on Saturday, March 9, 2019. Lamay will commence at 6:00 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be said at 7:00 P.M.with Monsignor Enrique Samson officiating.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 10:00 A.M.,St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin St, Winnipeg with Monsignor Enrique Samson presiding.
Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. Reception will be held at Mosaic at 1839 Inkster Boulevard.
