Antun (Tony) Brckovic
June 8, 1944 – November 20, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of Antun Brckovic announces his passing after a brief battle with cancer, on November 20, 2018 at the age of 74.

Tony leaves to mourn him, his wife Dianne his son Tony (Cathy) and grandchildren Anthony and Isabella. His daughter Jennifer (Russ) and grandchildren Brooklyn and Russell.
Tony is also survived by; his nephew Dinko Pirak (Kristina) Karla, Dominic, Lucia and Stella and his nephew Tomislav Pirak, cousins Mirko Rafaj and Marica and Hrvoje Pintaric, mother in law Norma Kelton, brother in law James Kelton. Extended family in Ontario Bob and Betty Nelson and family, Bob and Mary La Salle and family.

Tony was predeceased by parents Antun and Slava Brckovic, brother Dragan, sister Dragica (Dragan) Pirak and sister Milenka.

Tony was born in Grabounica, Croatia on June 8, 1944. He Graduated from tech school and spent eighteen months in the army. He worked in Germany for a time and then immigrated to Canada. He worked for General Electric, Lenkurt Electric and MTS. He married his wife, Dianne on Aug 26, 1972 and they made there home in Winnipeg.

Tony loved life, his family and meeting new people. He made friends where ever he went. He enjoyed playing cards, curling, chess, photography, Toastmasters and Especially Traveling to new places. His greatest joy though was his family, especially his four grandchildren.
