Joan Stella Tessier
April 3, 1934 –September 6, 2018
Joan Stella grew up in Walkerville, Windsor. Her family moved to Windsor, Ontario where she met and married Ralph Tessier. They had a long and beautiful marriage of 65 years, and were blessed with seven children. Michael, Pamela, Angela, Denise, Michelle, and the twins, Mariette and Lauriette.
Joan was a truly caring and deeply loving lady in every way. She had incredible patience and always tried to help and fix any problem or difficulty any one of us had. We will truly miss her laughter, wit and her incredible sense of humor.
Left to mourn her are her husband Ralph and her seven children, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren:
Michael and his wife Pat, his two sons, Paul, his wife Helena and their three children, Nicolette, Megan, Kyra
Jonathan, his wife Brandy and their two children, Connor and Abby
Pamela, her daughter Kathy and her three daughters, Sarah, Brittany, Felicia
Angela, her son David, his wife Alison with two sons Mathew and Darian; her daughter Lynda, her partner Jeff, their daughter Emily
Denise, Joan’s third daughter
Michelle and she husband Gregg with their son Adam
The twins Mariette with her partner Dave with their daughter Bryonna.
Lauriette with her husband Paul
Joan, mom, grandma, great grandma; she will be missed so much by so many. She was the kind of “LADY” who would encourage all of us to continue on, love and support each other constantly.
