Violante Moniz passed on Sept 10, 2018 at the age of 81, surrounded by her immediate family.

She will forever be missed by her son Alfredo (wife Teresita), grandsons Timothy , Zachary and their mother Berny, sister Coneicao, nieces and nephews especially Carlos (family) and Maria.

Violante was born in S. Miguel, Acores and moved to Winnipeg with her son to join her sister and family.

She was a kind woman who loved helping others. She very much enjoyed cooking and baking especially
making her “massa” (sweetbread).

She loved Sundays spending time with family and attending mass.

Vigil Prayers will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Winnipeg, MB. Rev. Father Andre Lico officiating.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Father Andre Lico presiding.

Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. Winnipeg, MB.
