Condolences

Condolence From: janice dobson
Condolence: My sympathies to the Lapatha Family. Stella was a wonderful nurse, an ardent Christian, and compassionate caring woman. I worked with her at St Boniface Hospital and remember very clearly the day she became a Canadian Citizen, and the very special day she brought Jay up to the ward to meet everyone who was there. Her pride and joy in her family was evident. The world is a better place because of Stella. May she Rest in Peace.

Condolence: Dear Noel, Rosina, and Hope, I remember Stella from many years ago when you lived on Lipton St. She was very kind and accepting of our family as you all were. I am very sorry that she passed away at such an early age. I'm sure she will be badly missed by all of you. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

Condolence: My condolences to the Lapatha families. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of dear Stella. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up". And the Bible also says "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will forever reside upon it". Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering. I hope that these scriptures will be of some comfort to you. For more encouraging thoughts, please visit jw.org
