Maureen Nicole McIvor
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear, mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, Maureen on August 23, 2018, age 28 years.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Jerrod, special puppy Weegee, her mother Barbara McIvor and her father Vince Desjarlais; grandmother Harriet McIvor, grandparents, Leonard and Elsie Desjarlais; brothers, Solomon (Jordon), Crayton (Korrine), Krestin, Harry, Robyn; sisters, Tanya (Jamie), Ivory (Evan), Arden; aunties, Lydia Doolittle, Sally McIvor, Marilyn Hart; uncles, Mark McIvor, Michael, Leonard, Darren, Daryl, Jimmy Desjarlais; nephews, Aiden, Frankie, and Asham; nieces Maddie and Sophia and many more relatives and friends.
Maureen was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on November 16, 1989. Maureen was proud of her
traditional culture.
Services and Viewing: Sunday, August 26, 2018 commencing at 5:00 P.M. and will continue until Tuesday, August 28. Maureen’s loved ones invite family and friends to a feast and spiritual prayers held at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, August 28, 2018 to
celebrate Maureen’s life.
Interment of cremated remains in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
The family would like to acknowledge the Staff at St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Unit and express special gratitude and patience with Maureen’s care.
