Pastora Barroso
May 5, 1938 – May 7, 2018

Mom just turned 80 years old when she passed away on May 7, 2018 at 3:10 p.m.
It’s hard to say goodbye but we need to let her go, to end her pain.
How we wish that we had more time with her; and she didn’t go through so much pain, if only…

Her family is her strength and joy.
She taught us how to love and care for each other,
and be a blessing to others in any way we can.
While we know she is gone, she has left the legacy of her love, sacrifices and perseverance.
She will be missed and remembered forever by her 7 children and 14 grandchildren, as well as relatives and friends.

The Barroso family would like to thank all our relatives & friends for their moral & spiritual support
during this difficult time of loss. A million thanks to Sister Anne and Fr. Thibault for their spiritual guidance
and all the staff of Health Sciences Centre GA-4 for their kindness and for making our Mom’s stay in the hospital more comfortable;
especially to the 2 of her favourite nurses “Kayla” and “Norma” for the tender loving care extended to her.

Lamay/Viewing will be held at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1006 Nairn Ave. Winnipeg, MB. on Thursday, May 10 and Friday May 11, 2018. Lamay will commence at 6:00 p.m. Vigil Prayers on Friday, May 11, 2018 evening at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Father Rainerio Sarce officiating.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Edwards Roman Catholic Church, 836 Arlington St. with Rev. Father Rainerio Sarce presiding.

Interment will take place following the funeral service at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
