John Fernand Brabant
July 16, 1930 – April 17, 2018

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of John Brabant, July 16, 1930 - April 17, 2018 who passed away in his home with his sons close by.

John was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Laura (Anderson) who passed October 4, 2003.

John will greatly missed by son's, Fern Brabant (Heather), Terry (Fishing Buddy) Brabant and Ted Waterman (Marion); John's Sister, Theresa Delorme (Brabant) Sturgeon Falls Brabant; nieces and nephews in and around Sturgeon Falls; grand children Mark and Wendy Brabant, Matthew Brabant (Fern)
Brenda Waterman (Colin) Laura and Mark Lavoie (Ted); great grand children Melissa, Blade (Waterman)
Andrea, Michael and Makenzie (Lavoie); great great grand daughter Sydney (Melissa); all nieces and nephews from Manitoba to British Columbia; not forgetting his favorite in laws Ivy Anderson, Ray and Gail Anderson.

John liked to do carpentry, mechanics, hunting and his Favorite thing, fishing. John and Terry loved to go to Flin Flon camping and fishing with Ray. John's only failure was for twenty years he tried to teach Ray how to catch the big ones and Ray never could...John and his two Sons, Terry and Ted have many master angler awards and John always wished that one day Ray might get an award also...

Rest in Peace...

Funeral Services will be at a later date..John will be buried at the family cemetery beside Laura.
