Obituary for Rosario Sarino Ingrilli

Rosario (Sarino) Ingrilli
May 20, 1928- March 1, 2018

It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce that Rosario (Sarino) Ingrilli, loving husband of Sila (Librizzi), died peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital, on Thursday, March 1, 2018. Along with his wife of 60 years, he leaves to mourn his children, Pina, Rita (Darcy), Rossano (Paula), his six grandchildren, Christian, Austin, Marissa, Alyssa, Jesse, and Emilie, and his brother Joe, along with many nieces and nephews in Canada, a sister-in-law with nieces and nephews in Sicily, and a sister-in-law with nieces and nephews in Australia.

Leaving his family and home in Sicily, Rosario came to Canada in 1954. Here, Rosario continued to build his career as a cabinet maker and a creative wood working craftsman. Rosario and Sila worked hard to make a good life for themselves and their family. A strong man, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, has left a legacy and his memory will be cherished always.

Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, March 9, 2018 at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Avenue at 11:00 am, with Rev. Father Sam Argenziano presiding. Internment will follow at Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley Street.

The family wishes to thank all the nurses, doctors, and staff at St. Boniface Hospital who showed great compassion and treated Rosario and family with great care and respect in our most delicate hours.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Holy Rosary Church.
