Condolence: Saddened to learn of Dave's passing from this earthly plane. What a wonderful man he has been to so many people during his life, as a son, a brother, a husband, a father, an uncle, a grandfather, a workmate, a mentor and a friend - and he lived all of those relationships with courage, sincerity and enthusiasm. What a great example he has been for us all. I carry fond memories of conversations and moments shared. As a new immigrant to Canada, I was blessed to know his, and Bertha's, warm and welcoming hospitality. At this time, my thoughts are with all the Maddens in Manitoba, Ontario, the US or wherever you may presently be.
