Efren Macabanta Perol
May 14, 1949 – December 4, 2017


Efren Macabanta Perol, age 68, peacefully passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017.

He was born on May 14, 1949 in the Philippines, but has lived in Winnipeg for most of his life.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Angelita; his sons, John Percival and Dexter Alan; his grandson, Benjamin Anthony; his brother and sisters; many other loving relatives; and many close friends.

He had a very kind heart and a lovable joking nature and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Lamay/Viewing will be held on Saturday, December 9 and Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd., commencing at 6:00 pm. Prayer service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 7:00 pm with Msgr. Enrique Samson Jr. officiating.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 10:00 am. At
St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin St. Winnipeg, MB. Msgr. Enrique Samson Jr. celebrant.

A reception for family and friends will be held at Mosaic Reception Centre, 1839 Inkster Blvd. following mass.
