Maria passed away at Fred Douglas Lodge on Thursday, September 28, 2017 age 94 years.
She will be missed and remembered by her children and families; Carlos Soares (Fatima), Jose Soares (Rosa), Jorge Soares - deceased, Maria Joao Dutra (Henry), Eduarda Gil (Fernando);

Brothers, Joao (Maria), Eduardo-deceased, Nicolau-deceased, Manuel-deceased;

Sisters, Augusta (Cecil), Eduarda, Gloria, Candida-deceased, Angela-deceased;

Granddaughters, Carla, Diana D.,Sandra, Priscilla, Diana S;

Grandsons, Michael, Steven, Scott, Nilton, Nelson, Marco, and Kyle;

Great grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Janessa, Danyllo, Selena, Matteo, Joshua, Sofia, Nelson, Lucas and Kylee.

Maria spent the last ten years at Fred Douglas Lodge. We would like to thank all the staff for their care of Mom, a special thanks to Gina Walker for her help and support.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Parish, 181 Austin St. N., Winnipeg, MB. with Rev. Father Andre Lico celebrant, Viewing at 9:00 am. Interment in Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Cemetery, 4387 Main St. West St. Paul, MB.

Pallbearers will be, Rui Gil, Henry Dutra, Scott Soares, Steven Dutra, Mike Soares and Ryan Young.
