Condolence From: Brian McQueen
Condolence: My name is Brian and I am a genealogist of sorts. I've been doing this for almost 2 years and I have researched almost 5000 people. I figure about a 1000 of them are direct relatives of Lorraine and myself. We are related through the Chartier line. Lorraine was my 3rd cousin 1x removed and her 2nd great grandfather Nicholas Chartier is our common direct link relative as he is my 3rd great grandfather.
I've never bogarted a condolence post before, but after I spent time researching her life and reading everything this place has provided, I felt compelled to do so.
And I am doing this for one reason only. I just wanted her family to know, that out of all of these lives I have learned about, Lorraine is one of the most fascinating ones.
You can measure the merit of a person by how people speak or write about them, and Lorraine appears to have been full of it just based on the amazing words that I read about her. I wished I had had the chance to know her.
I just wanted to share this. I do hope this was acceptable.

I am so saddened to hear of Lorraine's passing. Lorraine and I worked together for many years at National Trust and then again for a few years at Co-operative Trust. Lorraine and I were very good friends during this time. I will always cherish the opportunity I had to spend time with her.
Even though is has been over 20 years since we worked together I have always considered Lorraine one of my good friends. She was just that type of person that once you connected with her you would always have a great friend. Lorraine will be remembered with love and her memory will live on in all who loved and cared for her. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was touched by Lorraine. Until we meet her again!
