It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Elizabeth Jean Ruth-Goldenthal. Liz was born in Winnipeg on September 21st, 1981. She passed into the light on August 15th at the Health Sciences Centre after a courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis and Diabetes.

Liz was a beautiful, professional model, talented writer, and event planner. Her unique talents brought countless friends and couples together over the years, resulting in a beautiful legacy. She loved music, history and dancing.

Liz, as all who knew her are aware, had a wonderful heart. Her strength and perseverance are an inspiration.

Liz leaves behind her loving fiance Troy Goldenthal, mother Laura Miketyuk, step father Ken Miketyuk, brother Robert Dawkins, her grandparents Ruth and Phillip Gelinas, step children Kristen and Kyle Goldenthal, uncles Lance, Larry, and Lyle and family, and many others whom she dearly loved and who loved and admired her deeply in return.

Liz's celebration of Life is being held Wednesday, August 23, 7pm at Mosaic Event Centre, 1006 Nairn. The celebration will continue in the reception room immediately following the service. An opportunity to speak or share stories about Liz will be provided after the family tributes.

Liz professed a preference for guests to nicely dress to celebrate her life rather than her passing. Bright colours are welcome. Red and green were Liz's favourite colours.

Liz knew how to love and will always be loved, cherished and forever missed by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Canada either directly or through the Mosaic Event Centre.
