Antonio “Anthony” Colatruglio
1988–2017

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Anthony at just 28 years of age in his home on July 19, 2017.
Anthony was born in Winnipeg on December 26, 1988.
Anthony will be sadly missed by his parents, Franca & John Colatruglio and his brother Gaetano.
Also cherishing in his memory are Nonna Pina Infantino, his many aunts, uncles and cousins in the Colatruglio, Infantino, Reino, D’Andrea, Urciuoli & Bergantim families and his many friends.
He was predeceased by his Nonno Gaetano Infantino, Nonni Salvatore & Diana Colatruglio.
Anthony was full of life. His smile lit up the room. He was happiest when he was surrounded by his family and friends celebrating life every day. He had a special bond with his cousins and loved spending time with them and their children. He loved deeply and was loved deeply. He was a happy child and would wake up every morning to his parents with a smile. At a young age he loved his movies, mostly Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers. He became a big brother at three years old, always wanting to be with his baby brother Gaetano. At four years old he started playing soccer and found his passion and throughout his soccer years he excelled at the sport and made many lifelong friends. It was in his character to help others which he enjoyed immensely and as such he had pursued a career in Social Services with youth. He developed a love for cooking, perfecting his tomato sauce, spending time with his Nonna and Mom making family recipes. His fashion sense was impeccable and his looks were unique. His heart was gold.
Anthony our love, Mom, Dad and Gaetano will cherish you always.
