SAVERIO ADAMO
1943–2017
It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Saverio on June 27, 2017, aged 73 years at the Victoria General Hospital.
Saverio was born in San Mango D’ Aquino, Catanzaro Italy on December 30, 1943 where he resided until he immigrated to Canada in 1963.
Saverio will be sadly missed by his wife of 53 years Giuseppina and their children Rena (Reno), Vince (Nadia) and Phil (Grace) and their grandchildren, Christine (Demos), Rosa (Adam), Lilly, Adriano, and Great Granddaughter Gia.
Also cherishing his memories is sister Eluisa, his in-laws, Rosa Mariani, Tony Tummillo (Jeanette), Luigi Martone, Lucia Tummillo in Canada, Antoinetta Galante, Gerardina Celsalonga (Giovanni) Francesco Tummillo (Angela) in Italy, Filomena Zaccardo (Giuseppe) in France as well as numerous, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and many friends.
Saverio was predeceased by his parents Vincenzo and Gasperina Adamo, his sister Nina in infancy, and his in-laws Vincenzo and Teresa Tummillo, Francesco Adamo, Francesco Galante, Pasquale Mariani, Maria Martone, and Mario Tummillo.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Avenue on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. Father Sam Argenziano celebrant. Condolences will be offered at 10:00 am. Entombment at Holy Angel Mausoleum, Hwy. 1 East at Navin Road, Winnipeg, MB
The family would like to thank the staff of the Victoria General Hospital as well as the numerous doctors for the excellent care Saverio received.
