Chad Thomas Schoen Alsop
1987-2017

The world lost a beautiful man and passionate soul with the sudden passing of Chad Thomas Schoen Alsop.
Born September 8, 1987 he was the centre of his family and friends attention, his moms little man, the apple of Nana and Papa’s eyes and soon titled “the best boy in Winnipeg.” A title he boasted about all the time. Upon the birth of his nephew, Jet, he proudly passed the title to him.
Known for his love of life, he relished being surrounded by those he loved. It’s hard not to smile when thinking of Chad and his endless antics.
He was an amazing brother to Taylor, Sheridan and Devon, providing them with unconditional love and always a role model on how to have a good time – that they didn’t necessarily need to tell mom about.
From hockey to skate boarding to learning to play guitar everything Chad embraced was done so with passion and conviction.
As early as elementary school Chad was known as a fighter – he would fight for your rights, his rights and debate anything and everything. Just pick a topic.
Blessed with a music gene, Chad was a talented musician, that along with his 3 bandmates formed DEAD RANCH. He worked endless hours to promote and ensure the growing success of his band.
Chad will be sadly missed by his family friends and all those that loved our beloved ‘Moose’.
A celebration of his life will be held at The Goodwill Social Club, 625 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 3:30pm.
