Obituary for Morris Biggs

Morris William Biggs
Sept.12 / 1941 – Apr.07 / 2017

Morris had been ill for some time but kept that to himself, and we are grateful that he suffers no more.

He was predeceased by his parents, Morris and Margaret and brother Mel, he will be remembered by brother Doug, sons Andrew and Mike, and grandson Dorian. He was proud of his boys and grandson and cherished the time he spent with them.

Morris was an electrician, during his working life and spent parts of his career on the Dew line, as a contractor and was a member of the IBEW.

In his retired years he rode his bike all over the city, and as his health declined, he made some ambitious trips with his electric scooter for shopping, and days at the Forks.

He was stubborn, laughed easily and loved music. He was quick to help, when it was needed, and quick to offer his opinion, good or bad. His family misses him and healing will take time.

Cremation has taken place and no formal service is planned.

We thank his physician, Dr. Susser, and the staff at St. Boniface ER for making him comfortable at the end, and his friends for their kind words.

Rest now Morris and we will remember in our own way, often.
