February 12, 1938 – May 21, 2016

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Leonisa Valino on Saturday May 21, 2016 at the age of 78 .

Leonisa passed away with her two daughters Reniza and Rina by her side and in the care of Seven Oaks General Hospital. She will be missed by her other family in the Philippines; Sisters; Lualhati Gutierrez, Marina Roque, Loida Garcia and all the nieces and nephews.

She will also be missed by her sister’s-in-law Azucena Valino and her husband Emilio Cando; Adoracion Oscuro and her husband Roberto Oscuro; Danilo Valino and his wife Rosita Valino; sister’s in-law; Hilda Valino, Norma Valino, Nuella Valino and all the nieces and nephews.

The family would like to convey their appreciation to the Doctor, nurses and staff of Seven Oaks General and to the St. Boniface Palliative care team of Doctors and nurses. Also we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the relatives and friends who offered their prayers.

To our Mother our Hero, who fought to the very end for us. She’s the strongest woman we will ever know, we could not ask for a better Mother. We love you very very much Nanay.

Funeral mass will be held at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church 748 Keewatin St. on Friday, May 27th, 2016 at 9:00 am. With Rev. Monsignor Enrique Samson Jr. Presiding.
And will be laid to rest at Thompson in the Park 1291 McGillvary Blvd.
